'TRT's suggested timetable was dependent upon factors beyond their control not causing delay, which the finalising of the Tread Act clearly has'
1. Trt's suggested timetable (what is the latest suggested timetable by the way?) was not driven by the Tread Act. Trt has simply been trying to get its technology ready asap, it did not go slow when the Tread Act went slow. The Tread Act has delayed mass implementation of TPMS systems in general, but if TRT's TPMS in particular is not yet ready even today its adoption can hardly have been delayed by the Tread Act.
2. Trt has previously stated that mass TPMS adoption will take place with or without the Tread Act.
3. This is not a blame game. What's the point of blaming the licensees (who TRT themselves chose by the way)? Regardless of whether the factors are in TRT's control or not, the simple fact remains that if the TRT TPMS is not ready in time, adoption will be delayed. That is a problem for me as a shareholder in Dec 05, I don't care if it's not TRT's fault. I'm not after accountability as such, even though I think there is a case to answer for in terms of expectations v (non) delivery. I just want the value of my holding to go up. If this little piggy isn't going to market, the value will be going down.
