Transense: Automotive Sensor IPR for Honeywell, Michelin & The World.

Confucius - The 'point' of my reply to Roth was that TRT's suggested timetable was dependent upon factors beyond their control not causing delay, which the finalising of the Tread Act clearly has. TRT did accomplish what was & is required of them, so when you say TRT is not ready, this should be addressed to the licensees. TRT has never had the funds, the facilities or is it in the specialised business of producing the ASIC required for passenger cars and it's understandable that Melexis were reluctant to rush into outlaying the £1m - £2m cost of developing the ASIC without assurances from Honeywell and others that there was commercial certainty for them. Melexis has now designed, constructed, tested, up-graded & retested and licensees supplied as appropriate for their testing in situ. The final stage prior to commercial production is the product verification process that will be conducted with a Tier 1, the final legal seal of approval before it is unleashed on the public. According to Cantata's findings, this will take just a few months and can be conducted alongside whatever other details that might be necessary.
The problem is not with TRT, but with impatient investors who don't understand the complexities and demands of the auto industry and often become irrational of mind whenever the SP is under stress. I'm reasonably satisfied that events are following anticipated procedure and look forward to the final pieces of the puzzle to be fitting during 2006.
p.s For the SP worshipers, today's noise coincides with the quarterly expiry of spread-bets.
