snappy,
I used to trade commodities much more a few years ago.
(Indeed, I was once a derivatives trader for a Commodity Fund).
The last year or two, I have focussed on Resource shares (gold mining
mainly) and that has proven very lucrative. But cycles in Gold come and go,
and so I want to look more closely at commodity futures.
CORN looks interesting from a seasonal & e-wave perspective,
whereas some other commodities (such as SUGAr, COFFee, and OJ) may look
interesting by late Jan.
My first trade of 2003 in commodities will probably be options,
rather than straight futures since I can know my maximum risk
I will probably use GNI as my broker since I trade CFDs and
equity options thru them
