Internationals all over the pitch, yet we cant win away. Why? The answer for me is clearly Mr Jol. I cant help feeling that Harry Redknapp is siting on the wrong bench today. What exactly has Jol ever done as a manager? More than 2 seasons into his reign and we havent even come close to winning anything. Yet teams like Reading, Pompey, Bolton and Everton consistently outperform us. We have a core of players that would get into most of the premiership teams. Look at today, how many pompey players would get in the spurs side? 1, 2 max. Yet they are better tham us all over the park. Why? Why are Spurs NEVER up for away fixtures? That is a management issue surely. We supporters have long believed we are one of the big 5 teams. What a crock of shit. Season in season out and we are in a mid table range from 5th - 13th. One half decent season and everyone loves Jol. The truth is that he cannot man manage. He picks the wrong players at the wrong time. He wont stick with the same 2 in form strikers, prefering to rotate. He has no confidence in the youth structure at Spurs. Why do we have no strikers on the bench today? He will not pick Barnard. Is there any player in our squad today who has come through our ranks? Things are not great at spurs. And it is the managements fault. Credit to Levy, he has spurs in a healthy financial state, but Jol and Hughton need to walk. We need Big Sam, or Harry. But then what sort of career progression would that be? At least we have the 2 second tier cup competitions to look forward to...
