I believe NZWL (Neue ZahnradWerk Leipzig) manufacture gearboxes for Opel, Bettelsmann for Volkswagen, and ZF for BMW. But since these are german companies I doubt they have anything to do with your contract. They are also manufacturers of traditional gearboxes and so conversation about them does not really belong on a Torotrak thread.
As for the size of the contract, a £100M contract will only provide a spectacular increase in share price if the contract is awarded to a small company, for example, if Antonov gets the Japanese contract it expects, or if Torotrak gets a similar deal with Ford or GM in three years' time.
So, if there is even any suspicion of any "dirty dealing" with you buying into this deal of yours, I recommend you put your money elsewhere. Maybe have a look at the 2002 Ten-bagger thread, research the ones which you think are possibles, and then pick one that really will be. This will give you 6-times your money in one year after tax, surely enough for most people!
