There was some discussion about the impact of fuel-cells (and the electric car). This theme pops up regularly on TRK threads (for obvious reasons). As usual, conventional wisdom concluded that infrastructure problems (exotic fuels etc) would hold back any mass uptake, and do so for years to come.
This is actually a miss-conception, that I will now correct. In late 2007, the 'cold-fusion' battery will enter stage left. This event will herald a techological (and political) planet-wide revolution. The electric car will become an overnight success. The world will have turned and TRK/IVT will be a forgotten footnote in automobile history. Or, is it one already?
