That figure is out of date. It is now approximately 100. The reduction occurred shortly after GM said that they would not go into production themselves, at which time TRK decided that their capability to produce IVTs for a fleet of trials vehicles would not be required. Progress towards production is now entirely in the hands of the Tier 1's.

Even 100 employees seems a lot, and I suspect that if income is still several years away then they will have to reduce the workforce further at some stage to reduce cash burn.
