Sorry for the unforgiveable mistake of confusing you with slap! I agree with FredD's summary, and would only add that Getrag, another Tier 1, has been working on IVT for several years with BMW, and therefore BMW are likely to be launch customer. Also, much of the recent development work has been aimed at enabling the IVT to be more compact. For instance, a recent patented invention allows a 20% size reduction.
