North Midland Building (NMB), a subsidiary of Huthwaite-based civil engineering and building specialist North Midland Construction plc, has been awarded a £26.5m contract design and build new student accommodation in Lincoln.
The new eight-block complex will accommodate 944 students and a management suite. The blocks will be up to nine storeys high
Work is about to start on site and there will be a phased completion for the student intake in 2005 and 2006.
Brian Evans, managing director at NMB, said: "This contract is a significant win and we are looking forward to the challenges provided by this size of contract."
