Here we are at the end of the year and TMC continues as one of the Market's strangely under-rated enigmas. It's not as though institutions or PI's don't know of the massive scale of Berong or of its imminent revenue earning status; so why the mere £33m Market Cap?
How many of us would be surprised, delighted yes, but surely not surprised, if a bidding war broke out over the Atlas/Investika/TMC troika. One could easily imagine BHP, Xstrata & the Chinese state-owned CITIC Group bidding up to a TMC valuation of 4x current levels.
There is an old stockmarket adage that you can't know more than the Market. That may well be true; but time and again one sees that the Market falsely values companies - often for such long periods that even the most experienced holder begins to doubt his/her own research.
I believe that TMC is one such company; and that 2007 will finally be the year when patient holders are rewarded with a share price truly reflecting the value of the Company's prospects.
Wishing everyone Health & Happiness for the New Year; and yes, why not, a profitable 2007 too.
