i'm going to get shot down now, but tmc are about 6 months away from direct shipping and the mpsa will probably not be forthcoming for some months.

yes the philippine govt is keen to promote mining but the red tape has not disappeared completely, its been reduced from several years to several months!

if i'm wrong and the mpsa happens tomorrow or in a matter of weeks (after all i don't know how far into the process tmc are but the local permits have only just been obtained) well i'll be really happy to be wrong.

but it really doesn't matter when the mpsa happens as long as it doesn't delay start of direct shipping operations.

whether the sp will respond to mpsa news, or some other newsflow, or some seemingly arbitary shift in market perception of tmc, its anyone's guess, but it could happen tomorrow or it could be a few months yet.

those of an impatient disposition should leave now!

in the meantime its good to see the buys keeping up with and even overtaking the sells, albeit the volumes are relatively low.
