The Scotsman reports that the Your Comm deal will be announced tomorrow -
"THUS is tomorrow expected to announce its successful acquisition of rival Your Communications, a deal that is likely to decide whether there is a long-term future for the company.
The Glasgow telecoms firm was taking the imminent loss of its £35 million contract with Tele2 in its stride yesterday, and may hope for a better reaction from the market if it can convince about its ability to grow through Your Comm - a deal revealed in The Scotsman earlier this month.
Your Comm was effectively put up for sale by blue-chip parent United Utilities last year, but the process was speeded up three weeks ago when its value was slashed in half by £100m.
UU chief executive John Roberts said he wanted to exit the group while there was still so much interest in telecoms deals - referring to tie-ups such as Cable & Wireless and Energis."
