THUS today announces that Margaret Ford has resigned as a Non-executive Director
of the Company.
Margaret is currently Chairman of English Partnerships and has recently agreed
to accept additional full-time Executive responsibilities in this role. The
Board has agreed that Margaret's resignation will take effect from today to
enable her to make a smooth transition into her expanded role.
Philip Rogerson, Chairman, commented:
"Whilst I am delighted for Margaret as a result of her new role, sadly as a
consequence of these additional responsibilities, she considered that she would
be unable to continue to devote sufficient time to her duties as a director of
THUS and, with reluctance, decided to tender her resignation which the Board has
accepted.
We thank Margaret for the valuable contribution she has made to the Company over
the past three years and wish her every success for the future."
