Thor joined Aim at 2p this June. It holds exploration rights over three molybdenum-tungsten deposits in the Northern Territory. The most important is Molyhil some 200km east of Alice Springs. There, three shafts have been dug in an attempt to prove that the "nuggety" ore grades are better than initial samples, which graded a combined 0.5 per cent. Thor reckons the true grades are 1-1.5 per cent. And if the samples are good, a pre-feasibility study for open-pit mining will commence, at a development cost of A$20m.
Thor has also budgeted £490,000 for exploration work this year. Buy.
