I have not seen the listing prospectus to check the wording. Moore was not even with the company at that stage. He was with Torex plc on the healthcare software side and only joined TRX in November 2004 and as CEO in Feb 05. The shareprice increased from around 65p in Nov 2004 to yearend 107p, which makes about 60% increase. Bonusses should anyway not be awarded based on short term shareprice movements.
As I said, I am all for well paid, incentivised management, but I hate greedy management as they only look after themselves. I am concerned that these sort of payments may just put them in the greedy catagory, in which case I will sell and move on.
Can someone perhaps clarify the terms detailed in the listing prospectus to clarify how the options were earned?
