Profit is a fine motif for investing, asset stripping of a profitable company isn't. For weeks now various contributers to this board have been gloating about all the land that Wyevale owns, and the joys of selling and building houses, and the extra dividend created. If you want to buy a few shares and sell when the value goes up, great, if you want to invest long term in a company, then you should have that companies interest at heart, as it grows so will your profit.
I don't really care who is on the board, as long as the future of the company is assured and the profitablity increased.
But I predict that if Robert Ware get his hands on the company, the profit and share value will fall, echoes of Stead and Simpson.
Merry Christmas
