Well that's me fooled..all these years i thought people invested in companies for profit not because they liked houses, oil, clothes, flowers etc. You sound a tad peeved mejare2 was this because you were not approached for the position of chairman? as you seem to be a property expert (or know someone who knows someone etc)you would be an ideal foe on the board able to counteract the proposals of the Laxey representive Robert Ware and his property nous.
Another point appears to be your support for the previous board of directors who obviously had the interests of the company, staff and customers to the fore when they announced that they were open to takeover offers!!! Wake up and smell the lovely white roses.
Interesting the appointment of Jim Hodkinson as chairman..maybe he might mount a managment buy out which would really be a stick to the eye of Laxey.
