Good indication on which way electricity usage is going......UP
FRANKFURT (AFX) - German companies produced and sold 390 bln kilowatt hours
of electricity in the first ten months of the year, 4 pct more than in the same
period last year, the Federation of German Electricity Companies said.
Electricity use in Germany rose 2 pct year-on-year to 403 bln kwh in the
period from January to October, according to preliminary data, it added.
For Germany's biggest utilities E.ON AG and RWE AG, electricity sales in
Germany are one of their main earnings drivers.
