THE UNDERGROUND COUNCIL PORTFOLIO
Saddam Bin Laden - Wed, 29 Dec 04 :
Thanks guys for your gracious comments. Had a bit of a break so the portfolio will be updated the end of the year. It's been a tough year for small AIM market, even Shares Stock Tips for 2004 did miserably. We have learnt much this year and it goes without saying how disappointed we are with the overall return. Although on the positive side since we started the portfolio there have been three baggers during the course of the year, which were CFP, AFD and CYC. Personally I think ARX, MOS, CHR and even CYC have a lot of mileage in 2005 and expect great things. CFA have an uncertain future since the departure of SB who will be acting Chairmen but there is still a great chance for a takeover. CWV has been a huge disappointment with so much promise beginning of this year. As long at one or two TDI deals go though before March then there will be an obvious recovery but caution required. ZAR is a recent addition and we expect deals to happen soon which will hopefully transform the share price, which AXE will feel you in at a later point.
As for 2005 we plan to open up a HUSH II thread which will focus on a more jointly PBB participation.
Have a fantastic New Year and success for all.
Kindest regards SBL
