Happy New year guys,
It's now almost 4 months since SCA confirmed they'd received informal bid, followed by RNS 5 weeks later to say they've received more approaches.
No news is good news since they'd have to tell us if things have fallen through. However, most would no doubt believe that an update is perhaps way over due, causing some concern.
Others here have previously cited situations were a bid had taken more than 6 months to complete, which is re-assuring, albeit with the SP in the respective cases receding considerably in the mean time.
My view is that the only people who are likely to get stung are those who have this on credit, i.e. T10/T25, who'll no doubt have to settle at a considerable loss very soon, which could drag the sp down. This in turn should provide good buying opportunities.
Any thoughts?
