Fair assessment, sb. It seems probable that MM will now be continuing discussions with interested parties, possibly those that have already shown interest. Certainly he is not providing funding himself. Not necessarily anything underhand about that - I'd imagine many companies would make a deal of this sort with an ltd they wouldn't make with a plc. The royalties receivable are nominal enough not to scupper a deal but significant enough to make shareholders a respectable return if the machine goes on to be a major success.
