erik, my strategy is to add volume in silver gold paladium mostly on retracements. Of course we dont quite know where the retracements will take us, and wise posts from some of our colleagues can give ideas of how others are thinking - of course.
I've taken ot NOT following others in, as much as I can. its lazy thinking.
Some guys you know to do the opposite of what they suggest! not many such here though.
Its also not often possible to use the many 'reports' from Kitco, Bulliondesk etc, they can and may be, wishful thinking, or contrarian posts, briefing against the writers true position.
Tipsheets, and journals, are useless.
One area that is useful is Nations intentions to build gold reserves, Russia, etc we know, now China is mulling over a large increase, she only holds 600 tonnes, she may hold 3000 tonnes, or more...
otherwise the COT figs are very helpful, possibly the best indicator.
