Respect your views thatsmart. It reminds me of the story of the American missionary in Shanghai in the 30s who said "We are going to build this place up and up and up until it is just like Kansas City".

However this thread seems to have gone OT. As far as gold is concerned, the latest push seems to have more political "explanations" than usual, which is why N.Korea seemed relevant, maybe. So maybe the next turn of the wheel, e.g. (heroic assumption coming up) successful Iraq invasion, will take us down again.
