The Really Useful Gold Thread

I believe that the ptb take advantage of the trend following community to keep things moving in their desired direction. Whether that means keeping the US equity markets levitated or bashing gold - it is not very hard to do given that the trend followers will plough in or ahead like lemmings. This is not to say that trend following is not a successful trading strategy it's just that it's popularity makes it easier for markets to be manipulated (and leaves techno fundamental people scratching their heads).
