The Really Useful Gold Thread

Not the right place to talk about this but the Gold coins i bought have more than doubled in about 2-3 years. I also buy Art but it is a funny market. i have a couple of pictures by a former BP portrait award winner who has one of his Oils in the National Portrait Gallery and I have done really well on them as I bought early. I am too lazy to work on cars far too much like hard work. The best investment I have made recently is signed first edition books but I only collect one author who is rather famous to say the least and I think the gains have only just started - not harry Potter !Will not say who it is as I do not want to screw my market up.
