The Really Useful Gold Thread

e - We stopped at Lagos on our way round to the Med in August. Heard that Vilamoura is a nice marina but we went into Isola Culatra (Faro) instead. Lovely part of the world and nearly wintered there but decided to carry on round and are now wintering in Almerimar, between Adra and Almeria on the Costa del Sol. Much better environment than UK.

Many thanks for keeping the gold thread running - I still lurk every day though haven't much to contribute as I remain very long physical and have no plans to close my position for the time being.
