The Really Useful Gold Thread

IB: I am in the process of opening an account now.
I may be managing a few other accounts alongside my own- on a friends
& family basis. And IB is well set up for that, and has low costs besides.

Currently, I use Fidelity and as I am one of there largest and most active
IRA accounts, I am on a low commission there.

Looking at a 1,000 shares trade on NEM, I see:
Bid 48.95 /Bid Size 18 ... Ask 48.96 /Ask Size 38
an $8 commission on a trade of $48,960.

Beat that!
