I relate to what you say - indeed whent short because I thought everyone was a bit too bullish... did I get egg on my face though! doh
I've been pondering today how much I hate to lose when I back my own judgement. It doesn't seem to be simply about money, e.g. today I lost (not hugely but in 3 areas so it really hurt) on futures but gained on good old GFM, yet felt far more upset at the loss than if it had been the other way around! there's something so instantaneous about this type of trading compared to buying a share and tucking it away during good and bad days.

Interested in your views on the Silver performance. Can you expand sometime on what you mean about a bad sign? tia and good luck for a better day tomorrow.
