Have just been on the FTMarketWatch site and checked out the %age gainers on the Nasdaq last day. You wouldn't believe some of the gains... 600%, 400%, 300% and at least eight or nine showing 100% gains. Of course, their weighting is virtually non-existant, but it shows (to me at least) that the tech sector is far from dead. I'm looking forward to trading 2001 and am fairly bullish about the tech sector. If the UK doesn't hold up I might consider US stocks, but haven't any experience of trading them. Any ideas regarding brokers for trading US stocks? You also mentioned before that you trade/have traded CFD's, are these applicable for US stocks too?
