Not all Household Goods are bad. PZ Cussons (PZC) from the FTSE250 is up over 30% this year, when you take into account they got rid of their 'A Class' non voting shares and you were given extra shares for free to compensate for diluted voting rights.
Having said that there are many sectors that I don't have shares in, and would never buy shares in. As long as you have a good range of sectors, i feel there is no need to have all sectors, for instance I have no, Technology, Media or Telecoms, but still feel I have a fairly broad portfolio.
