Pijo, not as such. COLAL-PRED and ATL-962 have completed PIIb and are awaiting out-licensing deals to enable commencement of PIII (seperate out-licensing deal already signed for ATL-962 covering Japan). Renzapride has completed PIIb in c-IBS and m-IBS. There is a small study for Renzapride at the Mayo Clinic in the US for which results are due soon; but I understand this is a time-dosing study concerned with optimising performance in preparation for PIII, rather than to do with proof of concept or safety, etc. (not the same). Renzapride will commence PIII after completion of the trial at the Mayo Clinic and out-licensing.
It is quite common for companies to run additional minor trials as part of the PIII development, prior to commencement of the actual PIII dosing. The data from such trials increases the chances of success in PIII and should be viewed as a positive step towards that goal.
