Please could you clarify the following:

1) Is your application for enrollment into the COLAL-PRED trial, for the PIII acute or PIII chronic trial?

2) If you have not heard anything, presumably this means the trial has not yet commenced dosing?

3) If it has not yet commenced, are you aware of the likely timetable for commencement?

There is some uncertainty among AZM holders as to why AZM have not yet commenced the PIII COLAL-PRED acute trial, as they recently said they aimed to begin by the end of 2005.

As far as I am aware, they have no aim to commence the chronic trial from current funding. Presumably the chronic trial could commence quite quickly if a deal for any of their drugs (including COLAL-PRED itself) or a further payment(s) from Takeda is forthcoming, as the trial design was approved long ago.
