Qaz, yes as a matter of fact I do, though i'm not sure about the 8 week time scale. I agree with davlz22 (post 20209) paragraph 2. I would hope that something would have been decided regarding the future of Cetilistat within 8 weeks, but these things can drag on for ages. But davlz22 is right in what he says, that a takeover could be likely within the next few months if it is going to happen at all, but if a partnering deal is reached, then a takeover bid looks less likely. It all depends on what plans AZM have for the future & where they see themselves in the next 10 years. Either way, we should know more in the coming months & for what its worth I don't think it matters what deals have/haven't materialized with their other drugs, as you can't really compare them because Cetilistat is a far more attractive drug (a potential blockbuster) & I'm sure big pharma's will be jumping over themselves to get a piece of it.
