All that needs to happen is that ADVFN revoke his premium and then MJ can ban him from the thread.
ADVFN only think about money, so if a couple of premium punters consider leaving, it will be a simple case of lose £150 or £50 per month.
Alizyme proves potential of drug
By Business Weekly, 16 December 2005, viewed 29 times, emailed 2 times
Alizyme proved the potential of its anti-obesity drug cetilistat by achieving significant weight losses in clinically obese diabetic patients in a pan-European trial but received slim pickings on the stockmarket.
Despite the success of the Phase IIb clinical trial, the Cambridge company’s share price dipped 6 per cent (8.5p) to 132p. The share fall defied logic as the treatment was found to be safe and generally well tolerated, reduced some unpleasant side effects and also significantly enhanced Alizyme’s maturity in the clinic.
The study was performed in 37 centres in five European countries, including the UK, and met its primary objective of statistically significant weight loss. Cetilistat also logged substantial reductions in a key marker of diabetic control.
Alizyme CEO, Dr Richard Palmer, added: "These results confirm the commercial potential of cetilistat and allow us to prepare for Phase III development, while continuing dialogue with potential licensing partners. They also mean that Alizyme has its third proprietary product in, or appropriate for, Phase III clinical development."
