"Got my Greenpeace annual report through the other day and they were talking about the decentralising of energy supplies in London and Edinburgh with more local authorities following".
And my reply was:
slopjockey,
I have spoken about this before. Basicly the electricity supply as we know it today is not going to be able to cope in the years ahead and action is needed now to prevent blackouts in the years ahead. One of the favoured solutions is local/personal generation which would take the pressure off the grid. Personal generation helps reduce bills and lessons the need for more power stations which leesons Co2 emmisions. This is going to be heavily promoted by the government and as I have said many times will lead to extensive use of solar panels and local wind turbines like what we are seeing at Tescos.
The world is changing whether we like it or not and UTN are going to be one of the ones that benefit.
