The Faraj List of Exploding Stocks Part 3.04 (FAR3)

supermum - Fri, 02 Jan 04 :

barnetpeter - I have read your post and concur with some of what you have said. It DOES take a long time to read a chart properly and even longer to illustrate it. I take my hat and shoes off to fingers and the time and trouble he goes to, and gets it right so often. I don't have the time to do all that he does. I feel its also important to remind people that although most of us who post our thoughts on here feel we have it as right as we can, and sometimes 3 or 4 or even 5 of us have replied to a specific question(!) they ARE only our thoughts. and people MUST DYOR!!! We are not professional advisors.

I was very interested to see this:-
My view is that we are here to share ideas from different perspectives - which may include bearish views too. I reckon 98% of posters on ADVFN are only interested in the "its going up" mentality whereas of course the top professional traders are interested in movement either way.

I have frequently posted bearish views. I would like to say now, that its not because I want to put a damper on things, its more to hopefully make people remember that stocks and the market do not only go up. Its noticable that I get no response. People do not want to hear when things may turn down. The markets often need correction periods. This is healthy, not negative!!!
I have learnt that being a bit bearish on occasions has actually made me more money, as I have pulled out of stocks and then bought back in after the correction period. We are all doing this to make money - aren't we?
