the picture is not as bright this morning. basically, we are a couple of points under on the ftse now. the usa closed barely in the red and the ftse is taking its clue from the usa. expect similar behaviour over the forthcoming days while the market bosses are away enjoying their holidays leaving the little one to tinker round the edges.

sun, good to see it up again by 2% after the marathon way day rise of yesterday taking it some 17% higher.
auk, neutral, which is good news. after the hectic recent rises it is a sign of the stock's robustness to see it holding to its new grounds.
