Sector picking???????????????????, dont be silly lad. Its a stock pickers market and wherever you identify a cheap stock and the fundies are strong at some time or later the market is going to catch on. Increase in earnings per share is the biggest outer of a share price and always will be and always as been.
It is very foolish to focus on one sector as one bad apple can bring the whole sector to its feet and reap havoc, and theres obviously the 'opportunity cost' of just focusing on one sector.
This Russia / Ukrane dispute isnt as clean cut as it looks with the Bulls thinking just because there are shortages of gas and oil the price is going to rise.
Think again, the OPEC countries could sniff an opportunity here and move in, Up Production and take market share.
The Oil Sector could end up 'blowing up' like the gambling and gaming sector, beware.
