Happy new year all,.....Mel, glad your 'hangover' (or should that be 'overhang' in trading terms?) didnt get in the way of business.....lol. Having only found far3 last march, its great to be in at the start of far4. Hope your portfolio rewarded you mel, as much as you rewarded a great number of folk with your analysis. Happy hunting in 05.

hbos.....broke out from a 4 month asc triangle up from 780p and supported by volume, however indicators are reversing to the negative, during its rest phase, so it will be interesting to see if the support holds at 842p. ( the break above 780p, also took it out of an approx 18 month downtrending trading range, so stronger support should also be found here)

fundies are ok:
pe 13.22, roe 16.86, peg 0.51, epsg 25.69, inc profit / divi yr on yr and good trading statement.
