My own style is too look for the negatives in a share - Too often analysts, and thread creators focus on the positive for obvious reasons. This is the easy side to research on a share. To my mind it is what can go wrong that needs answering as if you come up with very few, or notional negatives, then I think you're onto a winner.
However, the problem I find is that immediately you "challenge" the pro-Share X brigade, you are labelled a shorter, and the insults come flying. Perhaps fair views whether positive or negative should be welcomed by more, and we'd all be better off as a result.
