Hi .. I don't believe we have met .. although the wording of your posts do appear a little familiar .. thanks very much for your comments with regards to my thread, and the 'master chartist' reference .. a nice thought .. but quite an exageration I'm afraid .. cos I'm not even an 'expert' .. in fact with my 'basic knowledge' of chart analysis, I am still only a 'novice'.

When I started learning about chart analysis, I was fortunate enough to come across a new thread that MEL had just started, (epic FARA) .. MEL was very knowledgeable, and more importantly, at that time, he was one of the very few that were willing to share that knowledge to help others, and although I subsequently bombarded him with questions, he always took the time to provide a reply.

Due to his help, I was able to grasp the 'basics of chart analysis' quite quickly .. and I am not the only one that he has helped in a similar way.

Because I am a 'chart fanatic' .. I enjoy analysing charts .. sad ain't it .. and whilst doing so, I am trying to follow in MEL's footsteps, by trying to pass on to others, some of the 'basic knowledge' that I have gained.

My posts differ to MEL's, because I am mainly replying to an 'individual' with regards to an 'individual stock', so I therefore analyse it in great detail to the best of my knowledge .. whilst this thread was started to highlight numerous stocks with 'explosive potential', and it does not require the same detailed analysis.

MEL has produced an excellent thread here, and apart from MEL, I am probably the only other person to have read every post that has been posted during the 4 yrs that the 'FAR threads' have been running .. anyone can visit this thread at anytime, and within a few pages, can find an excellent selection of stocks with potential .. so there is no need to waste time searching for good stocks .. they can all be found here.

The number of posts that the thread generates each year, and the number of 'hits' on the counter, is also a very good indication of how succesful the thread is .. Unfortunately the days of 'champagne awards' have now ended, but this thread, and its posters, were regular winners of the award, which is further testimony to the success of the thread.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank MEL for all the help that he gave to me when I needed it, and to thank him for his daily input to the thread, which has continued throughout the last 4 yrs .. long may it continue.
