The ADVFN trades marked with a "T" are protected - i.e. hidden from the market.
Basically, the MMs have the power to delay the reporting of a trade until such time as the order is filled or the time limit for reporting such a trade expires.
This is why you see so many "T" trades reported at the end of the day.
It is practically impossible to determine whether a "T" trade is a buy or sell when it appears in a share whose price is moving, as the trade could have been made at any time during the day. This is where it differs from a late reported "O" trade, as all Ordinary trades display the actual time the transaction was made, whereas with a "T" trade, the time of the transaction is 'protected'.
