PUGUGLY - Sun, 28 Dec 03 :

"sufficiently sensitive re secure implementation, that further details can note revealed at present" (not my spelling !!!! ex LemmingInvestor )
I
seem to remember reading a similar statement "in a previous life!" about a company called The South Sea Company - if I remember correctly - and now the CEO has resigned due to ill health - Curious -

According to their web site No London Office yet - Two Offices in Switzerland - No major shareholders listed -

From estimate of Advfn volume charts no more than 300,000 shares traded (ok 150,000 buys and say the same for sell) so 150,000 out of an issued capital of 43.89m shares - i.e negligible -
I cannot find any specific background details on . Mariusz Rybak and Chief Executive Wolfgang K. Menzel - Would help in evaluating the company.
All imo and no deramping intended - Just a word of advice to the Company that they need to be more open about their shareholders and directors backgrounds - These may well be available in their listing particulars but I would have expected them to be on their web site.

As a final caution the RISK WARNING from the Crown Web Site copied below for general interest - I think it says far more than I could!!!!!!

RISK FACTORS

General
The material on this site is for information purposes only and the services, securities and investments described may not be available to or suitable for you. Not all strategies are appropriate at all times. The opinions expressed on this site do not constitute investment advice and you should consult your investment advisor before you make any investment decision.

The value and income of any of the securities or investments and the price of shares and the income derived from them, which are mentioned on this site, may fall as well as rise. Investors may not receive the original amount invested in return

Investment in the Shares must be considered speculative, carrying significant risks and should be undertaken only by Investors who have sufficient financial resources to enable them to assume such risks and who have no need for immediate liquidity in their investment. Shares should not be purchased by persons who cannot afford the possibility of the loss of their entire investment, and an investment in the Shares should not constitute a major portion of an individual’s portfolio. In addition to the usual risks associated with an investment in a business, each Investor should consider the following risk factors very carefully before purchasing the Shares:
Reliance Upon Management

Crown Corporation is dependent upon the continued support and involvement of the Asset Manager, it principals and key advisors, as well as the personal efforts and commitment of the management. Should the Crown Corporation lose the services of one or more of the principals or key employees of the Asset Manager, the ability of the Crown Corporation to achieve its objectives could be adversely affected. Crown Corporation must rely entirely upon the knowledge and expertise of the Asset Manager in entering into publicly traded company acquisitions or investment arrangements in accordance with the Crown Corporation’s investment policies, the composition of the portfolio of securities of publicly traded companies to be owned by the Crown Corporation and in determining whether to dispose of securities owned by the Crown Corporation.
Marketability of Shares

The value of the Shares of the Crown Corporation will vary in accordance with the value of the securities acquired by the Crown Corporation. In some cases, the value of the securities owned by the Crown Corporation may be affected by such factors as investor demand, resale restrictions, general market trends or regulatory restrictions. Fluctuations in the market value of such securities may occur for a number of reasons beyond the control of the Crown Corporation and there is no assurance that an adequate market will exist for securities acquired by the Crown Corporation.

Illiquid Investments

The Crown Corporation invests in securities of publicly traded companies for which there is already an existing market, however, the Crown Corporation may have difficulty valuing and selling the securities of such publicly traded companies in an open market due to its controlling interest holdings. To the extent that the Crown Corporation invests in securities of publicly traded companies, its ability to liquidate its investments will be dependent on prevailing market conditions and liquidity. If the Crown Corporation wishes or is obligated to sell such shares or its entire controlling interest, the amount realized by the Crown Corporation may be less than the amount, which would be realized if non controlling interest equity would be sold. The Crown Corporation may be unable to find a purchaser for its shares of a particular investment.

Unforeseen Risks

As business plans of the companies in which the Crown Corporation invests are progressively implemented, risks, which have been defined, may be alleviated, while other risks may arise which currently cannot be effectively evaluated. Furthermore, other risk factors operating individually or in concert could significantly impair the ability of a particular company to implement its business plans and to achieve its corporate goals.

Competition

The companies in which the Crown Corporation invests will compete with a number of other manufacturers and suppliers in their respective industries including other multinational corporations that may have more established market share. Although the companies in which the Crown Corporation invests may have developed competitive products, no assurances can be given that they will be able to effectively compete with their competitors, who may have greater financial resources. Considerable research and development may be conducted by competitors and these efforts could yield superior products.

No Market Acceptance

Market acceptance of the products and services of the companies in which the Crown Corporation invests will depend upon aggressive efforts on their part to inform potential customers of the products' and services’ distinctive characteristics and attributes. Although the companies in which the Crown Corporation invests may have products and services offering advantages over the products manufactured and distributed by their competitors, there can be no assurance that the necessary market share will be attained and/or sustained.

Dependence on Certain Patents and Trademarks

Although key components of a companies’ products may be protected by trademarks or by patents, or have patents pending, there is no guarantee that the patents or trademarks will not be challenged or overturned, or that comparable key components will not be developed and patented by a competitor. There is also no guarantee that the key components are patentable in other countries.
Identification of Publicly Traded Businesses

There is no assurance that the Crown Corporation will be able to identify eligible, growth oriented companies in which to invest and acquire controlling interest or that if it is able to identify eligible high-growth companies, that the investments will be profitable. Should the Crown Corporation identify any companies and determine that an investment is warranted, the Crown Corporation may not be able to finance the acquisition and additional assets may be required to meet such obligations.

Additional Financing Requirements

The net proceeds from this Offering will be sufficient to identify only a limited number of investments and, if so identified, the Crown Corporation may not be able to finance the investment unless it obtains additional assets. There is no assurance that the Crown Corporation will be able to secure financing or that such financing will be obtained on terms favorable to the Crown Corporation. In addition, there is no assurance that the companies in which the Crown Corporation invests will be able to secure additional financing or that such financing will be obtained on terms favorable to those companies.

Lack of Operating History of the Crown Corporation

The Crown Corporation was formed in 2003 to invest in publicly traded companies and have limited capital resources and will have a limited investment portfolio in its early stage of operation.

No Public Market

There has to date been no public market for the Shares, and there can be no assurance that a liquid public market on a stock exchange will develop, or be sustained after the Offering. The lack of a liquid public market could have a material adverse effect on the market price of the Shares. The price at which the Shares are offered hereunder was determined by negotiation between the Crown Corporation and its Agents, and may not be indicative of fair market value or future market prices.
