For the RECORD...
My position is actually mostly FLAT to dow action...
apart from:
LONG positions in Gold miners, explorers, and some oils.
.... (now being lightened as Gold is strong)
LONG positions in Utilities & Bombed out Energy traders
.... (y/e tax play, added this week)
LONG some very minor index spreadtrades
SHORT thru a few puts (MER)
...
I think we are still in a BEAR market, so I do not want big Longs.
However, the cycle could give us some weeks of upmove IMO.

I intend to add to my long thru some reasonably aggressive Calls on SPX.
I am targetting SPX:875 (or lower) to begin adding these calls
