Arriva in top 220 of Britain's Most Admired Companies

Arriva has been acknowledged as a top 220 player in 'Britain's Most Admired Companies'.


Holding 165th place, Arriva, which now spans across eight European countries, ranks alongside household names including Alliance and Leicester, Halfords and Virgin Mobile.

The annual peer review poll is undertaken by Management Today publication in conjuction with Nottingham Business School. Britain's 10 largest public companies in 22 sectors were asked to evaluate their peers. Participants rated their nine sector rivals against nine criteria. Analysts at City investment firms were also polled.

Steve Clayton, managing director - corporate affairs, Arriva plc, said: "We're making huge strides across mainland Europe, we've a solid strategy for growth and development and it's really encouraging that we've been acknowledged in this way."

Earlier this year, Arriva was awarded 'Superbrand' status alongside Barclays, Sony, P&O, Pricewaterhouse Coopers an d AMEC.
