I'm still gobsmacked that "the average shop is £250"

I know there's only Mrs Spangle and me, and no spanglettes, but we're already buying some "Finest" stuff, and we're still going to have to triple our spending to get near average. So someone must be spending wheelbarrow loads to average us out.

Discussing "sales" today, I heard that a Tesco filling station at Glasgow was backed out the forecourt from 4am, and stayed like that all day. I think Xmas figures will be pretty good - always seems busy when we went, and we go at some strange hours.
