kw - if Wallmart was so good then Asda would be doing a lot better, and expanding a lot faster in the UK. In Hayes there is not an Asda around here for at least 14 miles. Management is just not with it.
I agree with Sllab101 - there is no comparison with Tesco forward thinking management, on how they can grow profits further, that is why another business bites the dust in Urwin, and Boots have now lost a lot of business, but then people like good value. All the other Supermarkets now realise an elimentary factor - they must compete on price.
But is Tesco going to get a bit naughty here. 2 1/2k desire potatoes 1.58 Asda just 97p. But then who had things on the shelf on the 24th December last year? Tescos. No good being cheaper if you have sold out - Asda.
