Patience is the name of the game. It is impossible to get this right as we all have different pressures and multiple options as to which stock we feel will perform best at a particular time, others may wait for a long time without reward. I have got it wrong many a time and can think of at least one, Gooch & Housego, when I left the party too early, as there didn't seem to anything happening. Of course a few months later and it sprouted. They had a new purpose built place and it certainly didn't do them any harm at all.
