TEO - Ready to go into Orbit!
notready - Fri, 23 Dec 05 :
Tradx666,
LOL!
But, not too emotional given my irritation with ursamajorras conclusions derived presumably from your post.......?
And to say I just spring to the attack on your concern is a bit unfair. I give detailed reasons and fair balance to your post which convinced at least one person that the directors were definitely up to funny business. That is a direct affect on the sentiment of at least one shareholder.
I do not agree with your last sentence "it is not the shareholders fault that the SP has failed to reflect what progress they have made".
There was a period when a few posters on here, mostly holders, were constantly negative, sometimes jokingly and mostly in frustration, but, IMHO in danger of affecting sentiment to new investors reading the board who may have been considering buying TEO. Each good announcement was hit with 'clever' comments, there was a little selling and the SP did not move forward.
We have fallen on very low volume over the last few weeks and just a bit better sentiment which MAY have been better without some of the gratuitous negativity MAY have given just a bit more buying volume and kept the SP higher, where I think it justifiably should be.
But if it takes 'the colour of the money' to convince the doubters and 'the market' then so be it. And I take great comfort in knowing how quickly TEO can rise. It has doubled in only three days this year on TWO occasions.........
I am not one to rub it in, I will be happy for holders WHEN it happens, but I will be irritated when people then say "I am a shrewd investor and I always had faith it would come right in the end". IMHO if you wait for 'the colour of the money' in the accounts then it may be 'safer' and you will still get the future gains, but buying before, especially at a low like now, is shrewder because it shows you have researched it better than the market and you could make much bigger gains.
Even now I know I can't buy the number of share I own at 2.25p. If I started buying that many now I probably would pay 3p+ average anyway, and maybe much more.
Anyway, it's the holidays, so we can wait and see what happens in early 2006 and in the meantime all of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
;-)
