Telewest will recover

Have to agree with that rorysdad. It is just that, herd mentality especially when there is no news to keep parties interested and any momentum going.
Nothing whatsoever to do with how good a company is or their position in terms of generating sales and profits etc.
Some people buy because chart indicaters point to buying and selling vice versa. This is merely going with the flow and in most cases is not going to help a share price in the slightest.
Look back some other posts over the past year and see just how far out chartists have been in the past, sometimes it's just as accurate to use astrology to get any incling of a direction.
And as I couldn't put it better myself it is a "New Fashion".
Unfortunately it is a hard fashion to try and win against as it is mostly the big buyers who are using this method and recommending these stocks on this principle to others.
Anyway hope to see a return to recent highs and a more properous new year.
